From Thursday, January 25 to Saturday, January 27 over 1000 Ferrari collectors and enthusiasts flocked to the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach from global and local destinations. This year the 33rd Annual Celebration of Ferrari Excellence Spotlights Meticulous Restoration & Preservation. The Breakers with its majestic views beckoned those near and far to gather on its most pristine grounds to celebrate Enzo Ferrari’s legacy, the Cavallino Classic. Since 1992, the Cavallino Classic has adhered to preserve Enzo Ferrari’s legacy.
Thursday evening there was a light reception in the Gold Room to welcome guests. Friday drivers and enthusiasts leave from The Boca Raton for the Tour d’Eleganza where they head north along the ocean with a stop at the Four Seasons Palm Beach before finishing at the Breakers for lunch, a Judges Semniar in the Ponce de Leon, then Party Under the Stars and the Tour d’Eleganza Awards presentation.
Saturday the Cavallino Classic Consorso d’ Eleganza Opening Ceremony commenced and guests were able to view some of the rarest, perfectly restored, and preserved Ferraris from near and far. The history of the Ferrari is an important element of the Consorso d’ Eleganza. A luncheon is served for VIP’s on the ocean lawn. Awards are presented at 3:30 and the Best of Show Awards Ceremony was at 7 pm at the Ponce de Leon Ballroom at The Breakers.
Sunday, the Classic and Sports Sunday featured classic collector models from every brand at the Mar-a-Lago Club.
More than 80 Ferraris received awards during the four-day period.
● The Best of Show Granturismo 2024 was awarded to the 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Ghia #0191 EL belonging to Dennis and Susan Garrity.
● Best of Show Competizione 2024 was awarded to the 1964 Ferrari 250 LM #6053 belonging to Chris and Ann Cox.
● The 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB “Competizione” #09063 belonging to Brian Ross was selected from entries with Ferrari Classiche’s “red book” certification as the Best of Show 2024 Classiche Certified. A Gourmet Dinner meant to serve as a fusion of culture and culinary experience, featuring cuisine from world-renowned chefs, including Michele Casadei Massari and Michelin-starred chef Juan Manuel Barrientos.
Notable attendees included actor and filmmaker Sylvester Stallone, entrepreneur and philanthropist Jennifer Flavin, actress Scarlet Rose Stallone, fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, Enzo Mattioli Ferrari, the great-grandson of Enzo Ferrari, collector Tommy Cabrerizo, and influential guests including Bettina Anderson, Logan Horne, Carson Griffith, Kristin Sanchez, Devorah Ezagui, Margaret Bastick Luce and novelist Bob Morris.
Proceeds go to the Cavallino Foundation, a 501 (C) (3) with more than $100,00 donated to help young people seize opportunities. This year the Palm Beach Police and Fire Foundation and the A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts of West Palm Beach received funds.
