And what a FABULOUS evening it was at Cocktails àla Palm Royale for Habitat for Humanity. The golden hour set the event on fire with the best light imaginable, and the colors and prints that the guests wore were divine. 250 of the most generous benefactors dazzled in magnificent Palm Beach 1970s vintage and inspired attire at La Follia, an estate owned by Ken Griffin. Lite bites and Cocktails àla Palm Royale set the stage at the impeccable checkerboard garden and the heavenly view of the perfect setting sun. The use of the property is just one example of the community spirit and Palm Beach couldn’t have delivered better weather.

Mindy Cohn, a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity, was the evening’s guest of honor. She plays the new society editor for Palm Beach Daily News Shiny Sheet in the Apple TV hit, Palm Royale. Event goers toasted the night away and raised $120,000 to help local families build strength and stability through homeownership. Cohn played a huge part in launching the Los Angeles Chapter and inspired guests with her dedication to the mission. She exemplifies a most generous spirit.

“We are profoundly grateful to Ken Griffin for opening his stunning home to us for this extraordinary evening,” said Julia Murphy, Chief Advancement Officer for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County. “At Habitat, we meet families at a moment of need—when a stable home feels out of reach. But once they step through the doors of their new home, everything changes. That home becomes the foundation for their most cherished memories: birthdays, first steps, family dinners, and new beginnings. The night, in one of the most beautiful homes in Palm Beach, reminded us why our work is so important—because every family deserves a place to build their future.”
