A Palm Beach Picnic benefiting Habitat for Humanity

And what a fabulous day it was! Over 200 guests gathered in the Royal Poinciana Plaza for fashion, food, and philanthropy on a fun and sun-filled day for the Palm Beach Picnic in partnership with the Royal. This new tradition was chaired by Collin Adams and Farrah Scott, along with honorary chair Lori Berg for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County’s 2024 Women Build. The high-energy event was well attended and the guests did not disappoint with attire. Lite bites, Rosé and grilled cheese were served by Nosh Catering in the west garden designed by The Pretty Picnic while a fashion show commenced Terry Duffy and Daphne Nikolopoulos from Palm Beach Illustrated as emcees with beats DJ Adam Lipson. Featured brands in the fashion show were tenants of The Royal, including Bognar & Piccolini, Cremieux USA, Frame, Hill House Home, Kirna Zabête, Kiton, La Ligne, La Vie, Marissa Collections, Rani Arabella, Roller Rabbit, Theory, and Zadig & Voltaire.

Collin Adams shared that “Co-chairing the inaugural Palm Beach Picnic was an absolute honor. The extraordinary amount of support we received was a true testament to the philanthropic nature that Palm Beach is known for around the world.  Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County builds homes, communities, and hope. This is not only admirable but also necessary for a better tomorrow and generations to come.”

“I am honored to have co-chaired the first Palm Beach Picnic for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, a charity that not only builds homes but also builds a stronger community, “ said Farrah Scott.

Sponsors of the Palm Beach Picnic included: BETR Project, Nosh Catering, Pioneer Linens and Whitney Hesse (all Cabana Sponsors), Krista + Home, Out East Rosé and the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce (Rosé All Day Sponsors), Palm Beach Illustrated (Exclusive Magazine Sponsor), Lincoln Digital Group (Entertainment Sponsor), Adam Lipson (DJ Sponsor), Allani Water Filters (Water Sponsor), Apricot and Olive, Barrel of Monks Brewing, Grilled Cheese Gallery, Sandy James, Sarah’s Slow Jam, and Baked by Sugar Mamas (Provisions Sponsors), The Pretty Picnic (Picnic Design Sponsor), and the Special Event Resource and Design Group (Floral Arrangement Sponsor).

Our mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. Since 1986, we have built 426 new homes, revitalized 749 existing homes, and partnered with over 1,170 families and individuals in need of safe, decent, and affordable housing in Palm Beach County. Habitat homeowners apply to qualify for the program, then help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, and shopping or donating to any of our five ReStore-Thrift Store & Donation centers, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To discover more, visit www.habitatgreaterpbc.org and follow us online at @HabitatGPBC.
