And what a fabulous day it was! The Mediterranean ballroom at the Breakers Hotel was brimming with some of the most generous benefactors devoted to the Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope, for the 10th annual Shop the Day Away! The event focuses on the support of local families facing the financial challenges of a cancer diagnosis. The resplendent room naturally lit with 15-foot arched windows overlooking the Mediterranean Courtyard was teaming with attendees in bouclé, charmeuse and chiffon in pastel attire adding to the elegance of the day. Guests sipped Champagne, and nibbled on canapés and lite-bites while they shopped the day away with the legendary and highly anticipated silent auction. Next, distinguished guests entered the Venetian Ballroom for the “Passion for Fashion,” themed runway which featured an exclusive upbeat presentation by Milly Park while a gourmet lobster and dragon fruit salad followed by a uniquely branded dessert created just for the event.
